Andrew Favorov
Head of the Integrated Gas Business Unit
Andrew Favorov is responsible for increasing value in Naftogaz’s key business division. His priority is to optimize costs and maximize ROIC in segments like purchase of domestically produced and imported gas, gas transmission and storage, and gas trading in Ukraine.

Andrew Favorov has vast experience in managerial positions with both American and Ukrainian companies, including DTEK ContourGlobal and AES Corporation where he implemented wide-scale projects with high capitalization. Having left the post of Commercial Director at DTEK energy holding, he founded Energy Resources of Ukraine (ERU), a company that has grown swiftly to one of the leading gas traders in the Ukrainian market.

Andrew Favorov obtained Master of Business Administration at Georgetown University and Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Georgia State University. He also volunteered at Central Georgia Mental Hospital and USAID projects in Kazakhstan.


Yuriy Vitrenko
Executive Officer of Naftogaz Group
Yuriy is responsible for the representation of the Company’s interests in disputes with Gazprom.

Coordinates the development and regular updates of the macroeconomic model for Ukraine, which is needed for forecasting long-term change in macroeconomic indicators that influence the Company’s key performance indicators.

Yuriy worked for Naftogaz in 2002 -2003 and 2005 -2010 being responsible for international bank loans and debt restructuring. He was an adviser to the chairman of the board on permanent and freelance basis. From April 2014 till June 2016 held the position of director for business development.

His career began in 1998 with the international audit and consulting group PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC), where he advised major Ukrainian companies on financial management.

He has 9 years of experience in investment banking and finance in Ukraine and abroad. Yuriy worked for Merrill Lynch investment bank in London and was the senior vice -president and chief operational officer at Amstar Europe international investment fund. He is a co -founder and partner AYA Capital investment banking group and headed the company between 2010 and 2016.

In 2004 Yuriy graduated from the MBA program at the INSEAD Business School (France, Singapore). He holds a master’s degree in International Business Management from Kyiv National Economic University, and is an Associate of the London Securities and Investment Institute (ASI).


Petrus Stephanus van Driel
Chief Financial Officer of Naftogaz Group
Petrus van Driel is responsible for developing integrated corporate finance functions and defining financial policy, principles and procedures at Naftogaz group.

Mr. Van Driel also is in charge of financial forecasting and planning, funding the group’s strategic initiatives, and improving the efficiency of financial transactions.

Petrus van Driel is a finance executive with almost 30 years of experience in various positions with Shell, ranging from finance advisor at Billion International (a Shell subsidiary) to vice president accounting and reporting at Royal Dutch Shell. Throughout his career, he has covered key finance areas including accounting and reporting, business performance management, business partnering, value management, business and finance process outsourcing, M&A and investor relations.

Petrus is fluent in Dutch and English and has a good command of German and French.

A graduate of Thomas More College (the Hague), Mr. Van Driel studied business administration at Erasmus University Rotterdam with a focus on financial and economic management. He also participated in the exchange program of the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration.


Otto Waterlander
Naftogaz Group Chief Transformation Officer
Responsible for Naftogaz group’s transformation projects, including the introduction of a new operational model and divisional structure, implementation of cross-functional processes and design of business process databases. He will also lead and participate in developing initiatives to increase the value of Naftogaz group’s enterprises, enhance business performance and generate more profit for shareholders.

Has 30 years of experience across the oil and gas value chain. Built deep expertise in leading transformations, in operational and commercial business improvement and in business development. Gained a distinctive profile in the natural gas and LNG market where he supported many companies in the (re)negotiation and arbitration of long-term contracts.

Before joining Naftogaz, Otto Waterlander was a Senior Partner at McKinsey & Company where he co-led the global Oil & Gas practice. Before that, he was a Partner in the energy practice at Booz & Company. He started his career with Royal Dutch Shell in May 1990 where he had various roles in the Netherlands and Venezuela until the end of 1997.

Otto Waterlander acquired his Master in Business Economics at Erasmus University in Rotterdam and he speaks Dutch, English, German and Spanish.


Yaroslav Teklyuk
Director for legal affairs
Yaroslav is responsible for legal matters and government relations.

He has more than 16 years of professional experience in legal practice.

Yaroslav has provided legal advice and represented corporate clients in banking, financial, and telecommunications sectors.

Prior to joining Naftogaz he spent eight years at Vasil Kisil and Partners, a leading Ukrainian law firm, including four years as a partner.

Yaroslav has graduated in International Law from the Institute of International Relations at Kyiv National Shevchenko University.


Margarita Korotkova
Chief HR Officer at Naftogaz Group
Margarita Korotkova – Chief HR Officer at Naftogaz Group, member of the Supervisory Board of O.M. Beketov National University of Urban Economy in Kharkiv.

Margarita graduated from mechanics and mathematics faculty of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and obtained MBA degree at Kyiv School of Economics. She attended numerous business educational and training programs from top schools, including Kyiv-Mohyla Business School and Ukrainian Corporate Governance Academy, as well as completed the HR management course at Grant MacEwan College (Canada).

Margarita has over 18 years of experience, including 16 years on chief executive and HR executive level positions in different industries such as oil & gas, food & agriculture, development, auto and IT. She has implemented a number of projects in the areas of corporate reorganization and implementation of advanced HR management systems at large single-industry and diversified business groups such as Kvazar-Micro, Atol, Rusagro and Milkiland. She has acquired strong crisis management experience through leading a turnaround of investment and development company FIM Group.

Margarita joined Naftogaz Group team in January 2016 as HR Director of Naftogaz’ natural gas subsidiary and Ukraine’s biggest oil & gas company JSC "Ukrgazvydobuvannya" and was promoted to her current position of the Chief HR Officer of Naftogaz Group in October 2017.


Orest Logunov
Naftogaz group chief procurement officer
Orest Logunov oversees procurement in the group, develops procedures and introduces common corporate standards and policies. He also coordinates the group’s units and improves procurement efficiency.​

Graduated from INSEAD, the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy and obtained the degree in finance at the Presidential University of the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management.

​Orest started his career in 1995 with Xerox where he grew from loader to logistics director within a five-year period. For several years, he coordinated procurement at McDonald's Ukraine. Between 2003 and 2008, Orest headed the logistics and procurement department at Foxtrot group. In 2009, he was appointed head of procurement department at Raiffeisen Bank Aval. Three years later, he joined ArcelorMittal as chief procurement officer and deputy CEO. In 2015, Orest Logunov served as DTEK Energo board member.


Vitaliy Shcherbenko
Director for energy efficiency and property management of Naftogaz Group
Vitaliy is responsible for organizing and planning capital investment and non -core asset programs at Naftogaz group. He manages investment raising for projects on energy saving technologies, minimizing natural gas losses and consumption and increasing the share of renewable energy sources. He is also responsible for procurement, coordinates personnel policy, social issues and logistic support. He has more than 20 years of experience in senior management positions. Vitaliy studied Economics at Kyiv National Economic University.


Oleg Didenko
Director for corporate debt workout, gas distribution systems and retail gas supply
His responsibilities at Naftogaz group include debt enforcement, maintenance and efficiency of gas distribution systems owned by the Company and other enterprises of Naftogaz group, establishment and development of retail gas supply market.

He ensures efficiency and transparency of procurement procedures at Naftogaz group and heads the central conflict commission at NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine, which considers and solves disputes in this area.

He has over 20 years of practical experience, including managerial positions at government agencies and SOEs, as well as a number of successful cases in various businesses, settlement of multibillion disputes and restitution of assets.

Obtained a degree in business management from the National University of Food Technologies.


Aliona Osmolovska
Corporate communications director
Aliona’s responsibilities include development and implementation of information policy at Naftogaz group; contacts with the public, media and authorities; building awareness of current business issues; and building of the company’s positive image.

She has vast experience in investmentand asset management. Before joining Naftogaz, she had served five years as marketing and communications director at Dragon Capital – Ukraine’s biggest investment company – promoting a full range of the company’s financial services. In the position of director of corporate finance and investor relations at XXI Century Investments, Aliona was responsible for IR; participated in preparation for IPO at the London Stock Exchange in 2005; coordinated two eurobond issues in 2007 (USD 175 million) and 2008 (USD 150 million); and managed the restructuring of eurobond issue in 2009.

Her academic background includes M. Sc. Management from Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg and BBA from International Christian University Kyiv.


Viktor Zaets
HSE Officer of Naftogaz Group
Responsible for health, safety and environment (HSE) strategy, plans and related risk assessment in the context of the overall business strategy of Naftogaz Group.

Coordinates the implementation of policies and action plans prepared to support the HSE strategy, including mitigation of risks related to occupational injuries, accidents, emergencies and other incidents across Naftogaz Group, in particular those that lead to significant legal consequences.

Viktor has vast experience in oil and gas industry. His career began in 1997 at the Ukrainian Research Institute for Natural Gas and developed from production engineer to head of the underground gas storage department. Later he worked at the Research Institute for Oil & Gas, where he implemented wide-scale R&D projects at oil, gas and gas storage facilities.

He joined Naftogaz in 2009. Throughout his career, he has worked on the development of regulatory documentation in the field of health and safety, attracting investments in HSE related projects.

In 2000, Viktor graduated from the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas where he obtained his degree in Oil and Gas Production.
