On 7 May, the new NATO headquarters hosted a meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Commission at the level of deputy permanent representatives. Naftogaz CEO Andriy Kobolyev participated in the event.

Energy security is a key focus for NATO member states and it is no coincidence that the first official meeting at the new headquarters was one with Ukrainian officials devoted to ensuring energy security across the Atlantic.

Andriy Kobolyev’s report on the recent decisions of the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce and the implementation of the Nord Stream 2 project generated a lot of interest during the meeting. The Alliance member states were unanimous that Ukraine’s energy security was essential to that of the whole region.
