SC Ukrgasproduction continues the operations for enlargement of the tank battery of Shebelinka gas-processing plant. The construction of two tanks with the total volume of 10 thousand of cubic metres has been finished by the Company. Thus, the first part of operations for enlargement of battery tank on the enterprise has been completed.
Due to the fact that the raw materials and finished oil products tanks were put into operation the enterprise will have an opportunity to perform the purchase of raw materials and to market the finished oil products with greater efficiency, which, consequently, will provide conditions for further increase of production output of Shebelinka GPP.
The increase of production output on Shebelinka GPP, which amounted to almost 14% from the beginning of the year 2007, has brought forth the urgent necessity for enlargement and modernization of the existing tank battery of the enterprise.
The second part of operations aimed at the enlargement of the tank battery involves the construction of six other tanks with the total volume of 29 thousand cubic metres before the end of this year. The estimated cost of such operations is 50 mln. hrn.
Note: Shebelinka GPP – is the only state-influenced oil product manufacturer in Ukraine. In 2006 the production output of Shebelinka GPP was 875,3 thousand cubic metres, 509,6 thousand tons of petrol types, 213,7 thousand tons of diesel oil, 11,8 thousand tons of white spirit, and 11,1 thousand tons of condensed gas were produced.
