Naftogaz releases its quarterly report on prices and volumes of gas imported by the company in Q3 2016 and three preceding quarters. The company publishes such information quarterly during the second month following the corresponding quarter.
In 3Q 2016, Naftogaz was not able to consider Gazprom's offer since the Russian supplier refused to sign an addendum to the contract which regulates issues currently disputed in arbitration. In particular, the addendum stipulates that Naftogaz prepayments are used exclusively to cover new gas supplies through entry points controlled by Ukraine. It also cancels the «take-or-pay» principle for its effective term and regulates conditions for gas orders and payments.
The information concerns gas imports by Naftogaz and excludes data for imports of other suppliers to Ukraine.
