Naftogaz executive board, with the consent of the supervisory board, has voted for the dismissal of Ukrtransgaz president Ihor Prokopiv.
Naftogaz has started a search of candidates and is going to hold a competition to fill the position of Ukrtransgaz president in the near future.
The duties of Ukrtransgaz president will be temporarily exercised by Myroslav Khymko, the first vice-president of Ukrtransgaz.
Ukrtransgaz continues to provide secure gas transmission to Ukrainian and European customers.
