NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine has submitted the draft Financial plan of the Company for the year 2008 to their accounting company Ernst & Young

A meeting of Ministry of fuel and energy of Ukraine and NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine management with the representatives of the financial statements accounting company of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine – the international accounting company Ernst&Young and with the representatives of world financial investors who are creditors of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine took place today in the building of the Ministry of Fuel and Energy of Ukraine.

During the meeting the representatives of Ministry of fuel and energy of Ukraine and NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine discussed with the accounting company Ernst&Young and the financial investors of the Company the issues of preparation and publication of the Consolidated financial statement of the Company and Audit report for the year 2006.

The draft financial plan of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine for the year 2008 was submitted to the representatives of Ernst&Young. Therefore the official grounds for the delay in issuing the Audit report for the Consolidated financial statement of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine for the year 2006 by the accounting company were completely eliminated.

The representatives of Ministry of fuel and energy of Ukraine and NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine informed the accounting company and the investors about the efforts applied in order to have the financial plan of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine as soon as possible, they also assured that the plan will be approved shortly.

Evgen Bakulin, Board Chairman of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine, informed the investors about the complete performance by the Company of all tax liabilities during the current year, as well as full and timely servicing of all credit liabilities by NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine. Thus, in December of the current year NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine has already paid and will pay $67 mln. in credit liabilities.
