Over the past week, Russian forces have carried out six attacks on Naftogaz Group facilities. In the early hours of 17 January, another strike was recorded against equipment that ensures natural gas production.

Russian forces once again carried out an artillery strike on the Kherson Combined Heat and Power (CHP) Plant on 28 December. As a result of the attack, one employee of the facility was injured. She has been hospitalized and is currently receiving the necessary medical care.

For the second day in a row, Russia has been deliberately attacking Ukrainian oil and gas infrastructure. Over the last two days, almost 100 attack drones have been used against Ukrnafta’s production facilities.
