Overnight, Russia launched a massive attack on the production assets of Ukrnafta, part of Naftogaz Group.

At the request of Naftogaz Group, Norwegian enforcement bodies have seized the Russian vessel Professor Molchanov at the port of Barentsburg in Svalbard as part of global efforts to enforce the arbitral award obtained by Naftogaz and other Group companies against the Russian Federation in connection with the unlawful expropriation of their assets in Crimea, which Russia illegally annexed in 2014.

On the evening of 31 August, Russia launched a missile and drone attack on the Odesa CHP, which is part of Naftogaz Group.

Overnight, Russian troops launched a second attack on Naftogaz Group-operated Kherson CHP. The plant’s premises were struck by four guided aerial bombs.
