Naftogaz names Sergii Koretski as new CEO
May 14: Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has formally introduced Sergii Koretski as the new Chairman of the Board and CEO of NJSC “Naftogaz of Ukraine.” The introduction took place in the presence of Anthony Marino, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, together with company executives and employees.
Financial statements: Naftogaz net profit was nearly UAH 38 billion in 2024
Last year was one of the toughest for Ukraine and its energy sector, as relentless attacks targeted power, heat, and gas infrastructure, aimed at disrupting the economy and plunging the country into darkness and cold.

The Supervisory Board of Naftogaz is pleased to announce that Sergii Koretskyi has been appointed the new Chief Executive Officer of Naftogaz Group.
Naftogaz deploys funds for immediate purchase of 1 bcm of gas
Naftogaz has secured a €270 million loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and a €140 million grant from the Norwegian government via the NORAD fund. The funds will be disbursed through the EBRD.
Naftogaz buys 100 million cubic meters of LNG from ORLEN; total contracted volume reaches 300 mcm
Naftogaz Group and Poland’s ORLEN have signed an agreement for the supply of a further 100 million cubic meters (mcm) of liquefied natural gas (LNG). This marks the third contract under the companies’ long-term cooperation framework signed in March, bringing the total contracted volume to 300 mcm.
