Oil Transit and Transportation

We care about reliable and uninterrupted transportation of oil both to Ukrainian refineries and for the needs of foreign consumers. Every day, high-quality Ukrainian fuel is born at our facilities so that our customers can confidently plan new routes.

Key tasks

Focus on maintaining existing positions, particularly the oil transit business, and discovering new opportunities to load the system and ramp up transportation.

Focus on the formation and operational optimization of the target perimeter of refineries, diagnostics of refineries, development of strategic initiatives for the development of processing and commercial competence.

Activity types

Oil transportation through main pipelines

We provide oil transportation by pipeline to Ukrainian oil refineries and transit to the countries of Eastern and Central Europe. Total oil pipeline length is 4.7 thousand km. We are the second largest oil transportation system operator in Europe.
Oil products and liquefied gas trading

We are engaged in wholesale and retail sale of light oil products and petrochemical products.
Transportation of liquefied gases and light hydrocarbons

We transport liquefied gases and light hydrocarbons via our own railway rolling stock and provide repair and maintenance services for special gas tank-cars.
Hydrocarbon processing

We ensure the production of Euro-5 oil products at Shebelynka Oil Refinery. Since 2018, fuel produced by Shebelynka Oil Refinery has been sold on the market under the Šhebel brand: Šhebel 92, Šhebel 95 gasolines, Šhebel DP diesel fuel and Šhebel Euro LPG.
Compressed natural gas (CNG) sale

We sell compressed natural gas as a motor fuel through one of the Europe’s largest networks of gas vehicle refuelling compressor stations (GVRCS), located across Ukraine.
Sale of own-produced oil products

We sell own-produced fuel through our network of U.GO refuelling stations and partners. Šhebel fuel may be purchased in Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Zaporizhia, Poltava, Sumy regions and in the controlled territories of Donetsk and Luhansk

General Director of Ukrtransnafta JSC

Volodymyr Tsependa

Volodymyr Tsependa has more than 10 years of experience in the field of procurement and support of production processes. On May 23, 2022, he was appointed by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to the position of General Director of Ukrtransnafta JSC. Following the outbreak of war with Russia, the Government set him the task of helping to resolve the fuel crisis in Ukraine.

He has been working for Naftogaz Group for more than nine years, having earlier served as Deputy Head of the Construction and Assembly Department to the Head of the Production Support Department of Ukrtransgaz JSC.
