The consolidated operating profit of the Naftogaz Group in the first quarter of 2024 amounted to 12.4 billion UAH. At the same time, the corresponding figure for the same period last year was 3.4 billion UAH.
Naftogaz remains the backbone of Ukraine in times of war. With joint efforts we are strengthening our positions, demonstrating better financial performance. In the first quarter of 2024, we improved the financial result of the Group’s parent company, Naftogaz of Ukraine. It received a net profit of 8.1 billion UAH, which is 0.4 billion more than in the same period of 2023," noted Oleksiy Chernyshov.
He also reminded that at the end of March 2024, the Naftogaz Group successfully completed the 2023/2024 heating season under the PSO regime without receiving any additional funding from the state.
It is worth noting that from January to March 2024, the Naftogaz Group paid 18.2 billion UAH in taxes to the state budget. This accounts for 6% of all payments controlled by the State Tax Service of Ukraine.
