Poltava and Sumy regions under attack: for the second day in a row, Russia targets Naftogaz facilities

For the second day in a row, Russian forces have been deliberately attacking the oil and gas infrastructure of the Naftogaz Group.

Overnight, a gas production facility in the Poltava region was again attacked by drones, after having already come under fire the previous day.

Another oil and gas facility in the Sumy region was also hit.

A fire broke out at the site. Units of the State Emergency Service were involved in extinguishing it. Fortunately, employees were in shelters and no one was injured,” said Sergii Koretskyi, CEO of Naftogaz.

Company specialists and all relevant services are working to eliminate the consequences of the attacks.
