More than 24 hours under attack: massive Russian strike on Naftogaz facilities in Kharkiv and Poltava regions

For more than 24 hours, Russian forces have been carrying out a massive attack on Naftogaz Group oil and gas facilities in the Kharkiv Oblast and Poltava Oblast regions.

Several critically important infrastructure facilities came under attack simultaneously. The strikes caused serious damage to equipment, while large-scale fires broke out at the sites.

Personnel have been evacuated. It is currently impossible to assess the consequences of the attacks due to the danger of repeated strikes. Additional information will be provided as soon as it is available,” said Sergii Koretskyi, Chief Executive Officer of Naftogaz.

All relevant services are working on site. The situation remains difficult.
