Late on 19 May, Russian forces launched a missile strike on Naftogaz Group oil and gas infrastructure in the Chernihiv region.

Prior to the missile strike, drone attacks had continued throughout the day. Several production facilities came under attack.

Targeted strikes on the Group’s assets have now continued for the fourth consecutive day. The strikes caused destruction of equipment. Personnel at the production facilities were not injured.

As soon as the security situation allows, company specialists will begin assessment of the attack consequences and begin restoration work,” said Naftogaz CEO Sergii Koretskyi.
