Russian forces have once again shelled a Naftogaz Group heating and energy plant in Kherson. The attack was carried out using artillery.
As a result of the shelling, a worker of the chemical unit, Olha Basenko, was killed.
Unfortunately, we have tragic news from Kherson. Olha Basenko, an employee of the chemical unit at the Kherson CHP plant, has been killed. Our condolences go to her family, loved ones, and the entire team. Since the start of the full-scale invasion, we have lost 315 of our colleagues. Russians are systematically targeting the plant, although there is no military justification for this. This is pure terrorism,” commented Naftogaz CEO Sergii Koretskyi.
Company specialists are working on site as the security situation allows. Actions are being coordinated with all relevant emergency services.
