Russia strikes Ukrainian gas production again: Naftogaz manages aftermath, maintains steady supply to households and businesses

Russian forces have once again targeted Ukrainian gas production. Last night, Naftogaz Group facilities across several Ukrainian regions came under attack. Crucially, no employees were injured during the strikes.

Operations across Naftogaz Group enterprises remain uninterrupted, ensuring a steady gas supply to all categories of consumers.

Naftogaz Group, like all energy companies, operates under extremely challenging conditions. Energy security has never been more critical than it is today, nor has it required such immense efforts and investments in protection and restoration,” said Roman Chumak, Acting Naftogaz Chairman of the Board. “The situation remains difficult but under control. I am deeply grateful to every Naftogaz employee who is going above and beyond to ensure Ukraine’s gas supply.”

He added that the Group is preparing for all possible scenarios and continues to import gas to bolster supply resilience.

Ukrainians must have heat, and businesses need fuel to operate. This remains our top priority,” Chumak added.
