Russia continues to target Naftogaz Group gas production facility in Kharkiv region

Following the combined attack on Kyiv this night, Russian forces have been launching massive strikes since early this morning on one of the gas production facilities of Naftogaz Group in Kharkiv region.

A fire broke out at the facility as a result of the attack. One employee of the facility was injured. He was given first aid and taken to hospital.

Shortly after, Russians launched a second strike on the same facility, attempting to cause even greater destruction.

The enemy attack is ongoing. Staff are taking shelter, and operations at the facility have been suspended. The most important thing right now is people’s safety. We will only be able to assess the extent of the damage once the air raid alert is over and the security situation is stabilised,” Chief Executive Officer of Naftogaz Sergii Koretskyi said.

Specialists will begin assessing the aftermath of the attack as soon as the situation in the region allows.
