A Naftogaz Group oil and gas infrastructure facility in central Ukraine was targeted three times by Russia overnight.
The strikes triggered an explosion and a major fire.
Fortunately, no employees were injured. They were evacuated in time. I thank Ukraine’s State Emergency Service and Naftogaz Group employees for their swift response,” said Sergii Fedorenko, Acting Chief Executive Officer of Naftogaz.
Equipment at the facility was damaged. Specialists are assessing the full extent of the damage.
