The strikes destroyed equipment critical to the company’s operations. As a result, a number of production facilities have been taken offline, leading to the loss of significant oil and gas production volumes.
Russia is systematically attacking Ukraine’s oil and gas production sector in an attempt to inflict maximum damage on our infrastructure ahead of winter. Last night’s strike was one of the largest attacks on Ukrnafta’s production facilities in recent months. Fortunately, there were no casualties,” commented Sergii Fedorenko, Acting Chief Executive Officer of Naftogaz.
Over the past 24 hours, the enemy also attacked four UKRNAFTA filling stations in the Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions. Neither customers nor employees were injured.
During the first seven months of 2026, Russia destroyed 32 UKRNAFTA filling stations and five production facilities operated by Ukrgasvydobuvannya.
