Overnight, Russia attacked Naftogaz Group’s gas production infrastructure in Kharkiv region. A strike by a jet-powered drone caused a fire at the facility.
During the attack, employees were in a shelter. No one was injured.
Critical equipment was damaged in the attack. Our employees are doing everything they can to address the consequences of the strike as quickly as possible and prevent any risks to the stable operation of the energy system,” said Naftogaz’s Acting CEO Sergii Fedorenko.
Naftogaz Group specialists are currently working to deal with the emergency and repair the damage at the facility.
