Naftogaz Group Decarbonisation Strategy sets out the company’s long-term development areas, taking into account climate targets, Ukraine’s European course and the need to ensure a reliable and affordable energy supply.

Importantly, the document recognises the Group’s special role in ensuring Ukraine’s energy stability amidst the war.

Going forward, Naftogaz Group will assess the opportunities and conditions for progressing in the areas set out in the Strategy and, will review its short- and medium-term targets in line with the state policy and energy demand forecasts, as and when necessary.

The Decarbonisation Strategy was developed with the support of the European Investment Bank, which provided grant funding to engage international consultants.
