Naftogaz Group will provide financial assistance for the restoration of the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra and the Oleksandr Dovzhenko National Film Studio

Naftogaz Group, in coordination with the Government of Ukraine, has decided to provide financial assistance for the restoration of the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra and the Oleksandr Dovzhenko National Film Studio, both of which were damaged as a result of Russian attacks.

These sites are of particular importance for preserving Ukraine’s historical memory, national identity, and cultural heritage.

Russia is deliberately destroying our homes, critical infrastructure, historical landmarks, and cultural sites. Its attacks are aimed not only at specific buildings, but also at our identity. Only by joining the efforts of the state, business, and society will we be able to restore what has been destroyed, preserve our heritage, and prove that Ukrainian culture cannot be erased by any missiles or drones,” said Sergii Koretskyi, Chief Executive Officer of Naftogaz.

Naftogaz Group encourages responsible Ukrainian businesses to contribute to the restoration of cultural heritage sites and to support, through joint efforts, projects that are important for Ukraine’s future.
