The new CEO’s key priorities include ensuring the safety of gas distribution during wartime, improving operational efficiency, enhancing internal processes, digitalization, and developing customer services.
An important area of focus will be strengthening the company’s resilience to wartime challenges and supporting employees who ensure the operation of critical infrastructure every day. This includes personnel safety, proper working conditions, and support for regional teams, particularly those working near combat zones.
Following an open and transparent competitive selection process, the independent Supervisory Board of LLC “Gas Distribution Networks of Ukraine” has appointed a new Chief Executive Officer. The key task is to ensure the reliable operation of the gas distribution system amid the war and continued Russian attacks, while improving operational efficiency and developing customer services,” said Sergii Fedorenko, Acting Chief Executive Officer of Naftogaz.
The Supervisory Board of LLC “Gas Distribution Networks of Ukraine” was established in April 2026, with independent members forming the majority. The new governance model provides for a clear division of responsibilities between the Supervisory Board, which exercises strategic control and oversight, and the Management Board, which is responsible for the company’s operations, strategy implementation, and achievement of defined business objectives.
