Naftogaz Career Days brings together around 2,500 participants in Ivano-Frankivsk

Naftogaz Group, together with Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas, has hosted Naftogaz Career Days in Ivano-Frankivsk. The event brought together around 2,500 university students along with students from vocational schools and colleges.

“This was the first time we have organised an initiative of this scale. Our goal is to help young people see opportunities for professional growth in Ukraine, gain insight into real operational challenges, and understand that their knowledge and ideas can contribute to the country’s energy security,” said Daryna Bahmet, Head of HR Services and Recruitment at Naftogaz.

Over the two-day event, participants attended meetings with Naftogaz experts, along with lectures and interactive sessions. They had an opportunity to learn more about the oil and gas industry, in-demand professions, and career prospects across Naftogaz Group companies.

Meetings like these help students understand how theoretical knowledge is applied in practice. Continuing this initiative is a priority for us, as it will help future professionals make informed career choices and contribute to the development of the industry,” said Anna Yegorova, Head of Learning, Development and Employee Engagement at Naftogaz.

The university also highlighted the importance of such initiatives in preparing the next generation of professionals.

Naftogaz Career Days is a strong example of effective cooperation between education and business. It gives students an opportunity to learn about employment, internships, and professional development prospects, while helping the company better understand the expectations of today’s youth. By bringing together the university and industry, we create more opportunities for high-quality education and students’ professional fulfilment,” said Rector Ihor Chudyk.
