Naftogaz meets international energy leaders on the sidelines of WEF August Leadership Meetings in Geneva

Naftogaz Group team is actively working with the world’s largest energy companies, international financial organisations and investment funds to ensure Ukraine has everything it needs to pass the heating season amidst Russian attacks. In parallel, the company is working to expand its operational activities.

Acting CEO of Naftogaz Sergii Fedorenko held a series of meetings with the heads of leading international companies during the WEF August Leadership Meetings in Geneva.

The parties discussed expanding cooperation in equipment supplies, sharing expertise on ensuring resilience in wartime, mobilising additional resources needed to rebuild destroyed infrastructure and get through the winter, energy supplies, as well as current global challenges. 

The August Leadership Meetings is a private event attended by around 120 chief executives and chairpersons of the world’s leading companies. The format is designed to share experience, have a dialogue, and serves as a platform for global business leaders to collaborate and discuss the challenges shaping the development of the global economy.

As reported, since the start of 2026, Russia has more than doubled the intensity of its strikes on Naftogaz Group facilities. In total, around 300 attacks have been reported since the start of the year.
