Naftogaz explores energy and digitalization partnership with Bergen Engines and Itera

Roman Chumak, Acting Chairman of the Executive Board of Naftogaz Group, met today, April 8, in Kyiv with John Erik Rov, CEO of Bergen Engines, and Jon Erik Hogberg, COO of Itera, to discuss potential cooperation in energy and digital technologies.

Roman Chumak thanked the partners for supplying gas reciprocating units that will help provide heat and electricity to two major Ukrainian cities during the upcoming heating season.

We appreciate this high-tech equipment, which will strengthen the energy resilience of our communities. Amid constant attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, reliable backup power is not just equipment — it’s a guarantee of warmth and light for Ukrainian homes,” said Roman Chumak.

The discussion also focused on opportunities to digitalize natural gas production in Ukraine using advanced IT solutions, data analytics, and cloud technologies to boost well efficiency.
