The funding will be allocated through the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). All payments will be exercised directly to European gas suppliers.

According to the Norwegian government’s statement on the signing of the agreement, this amount part of NOK 10 bn package (approximately USD 976 mn) that Norway allocated to Ukraine for 2022 and 2023.
