Chief Executive Officer of National Joint Stock Company “Naftogaz of Ukraine” Oleksiy Chernyshov confirmed that today, on 17 November, the russian aggressor launched a massive shelling on the gas-producing infrastructure of JSC Ukrgasvydobuvannya in the east of Ukraine.
We are currently aware of several destroyed facilities, other ones have suffered damage of varying degrees. JSC Ukrgasvydobuvannya experts have promptly arrived at the damaged facilities. They are currently evaluating the consequences and scale of the attack. Also, the information on casualties is being updated”, – informed Oleksiy Chernyshov.
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine has already extinguished the fire caused by the shelling.
