Local authorities in Kherson, Odesa, Mykolaiv, Dnipro, Volyn and Vinnytsia regions have begun disconnecting consumers from the heating network, reports Naftogaz CEO Oleksiy Chernyshov.
Ukraine is successfully completing the most difficult heating season in the country's modern history. In some regions, weather conditions have allowed us to do this earlier than planned. A cold snap is currently expected, but heating will be gradually turned off in other regions once this is over," the Head of Naftogaz Group said.
Chernyshov also thanked the specialists who made it possible to get through the winter season without any serious heat supply problems.
I am grateful to the gas workers who kept Ukrainians warm," Oleksiy Chernyshov noted.
It should be recalled that Naftogaz Group is proactive in increasing Ukrainian gas production. In March alone, two new productive wells were launched.
