Even despite the war, gas production in eastern Ukraine continues. This was emphasized by Oleksiy Chernyshov, Chairman of the Board at NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine during his working visit to the Naftogaz Group facilities in Poltava region today, on 23 March 2023.
Apart from ensuring the operation of our facilities, we also work on drilling new wells. In March alone, we launched two new productive wells with a capacity of 300-400 thousand cubic meters per day. These wells have shown significant production results thanks to the application of up-to-date approaches to the development of hydrocarbon fields," Oleksiy Chernyshov noted.
As part of the trip, the Chairman of the Board also had meetings with teams working in the field.
We discussed issues that need to be addressed as a matter of priority. I really appreciate the opportunity to personally thank my colleagues who reliably hold the energy frontline," the Head of Naftogaz Group added.
