Latest update on operation of Naftogaz Group enterprises as of 13-19 June 2023

  • JSC Donetskoblgaz employees continue supplying natural gas to the Donetsk Region even under fire. Over the past week, workers of the Slavic Gas Supply and Gasification Department pressurized more than 17 km of gas pipeline. Within 7 days, 233 damages of gas pipelines without gas leaks were recorded in Lyman. Gas specialists in frontline Kostyantynivka are actively engaged in repairing the damage inflicted upon the gas supply system due to hostilities. The emergency gas dispatch service recorded a total of nine gas leaks throughout the week that were not connected to the hostilities. 
  • From January to May 2023, JSC Ukrgasvydobuvannya transferred UAH 10.1 bn of rent payments to the consolidated budget of Ukraine. Of this amount, 5%, or UAH 505.7 mn, will be transferred to the budgets of local and regional levels in 11 regions where the company produces hydrocarbons.

    The Company keeps sustainable operation at all its facilities, except for those located near the contact line. 
  • Last week, Novoyavorivsk and Novyi Rozdil CHPs (Naftogaz Teplo) operated as normal. Employees of the heat and power plants continue to prepare the main and auxiliary equipment for operation in the next heating season. Novoyavorivsk CHP has recently acquired pre-insulated pipes to replace the most problematic sections of the main heating network. The replacement of the emergency part of the pipeline is in progress. 400 m of emergency pipeline is planned to be replaced prior to the commencement of the heating season. Scheduled emergency repairs are underway at Novorozdilsk, focusing on the heating and hot water supply networks.

    Branch Novoyavorivsk power grids and Branch Novyi Rozdil Novoyavorivsk grids operate as normal.

    Novoyavorivsk CHP is gearing up for the upcoming heating season, as preparations are underway to ensure a seamless operation of its equipment. Electricity is supplied to all consumers of Novoyavorivsk, Novyi Rozdil and the adjacent settlements.
  • JSC Ukrtransgaz – Operator of Gas Transmission System of Ukraine continues to operate as normal. Last week, the annual Shippers' Meeting took place with the participation of Ukrtransgaz, the Gas Transmission System Operator, and the support of the Energy Community. During the meeting, Ukrtransgaz provided an update on the current status of the Ukrainian gas storage operator. The company's primary priorities continue to be gas storage safety, commercial offerings, and indicators of the appeal of injecting gas into Ukraine's underground storage facilities for this season. Presently, over 1,000 customers choose to store their gas in Ukraine.
  • PJSC Ukrnafta and the Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA) have recently concluded asset management agreements for the corporate rights in the authorized capital of several entities, namely East Up Petroleum LLC, Sakhalinske LLC, Sirius-1 LLC, and PrJSC MC Ukrnaftoburinnya.
