Latest update on operation of Naftogaz Group enterprises as of 7 — 13 February 2023

  • Last week JSC Ukrtransgaz — Operator of Gas Transmission System of Ukraine started cooperation with USAID to modernize the dispatching and automation systems of Ukraine's underground gas storage facilities. 

    Work has now started on developing a modernization strategy. The ultimate goal of the project is to improve the key systems of Ukraine's underground gas storage network - dispatching and automation - in line with the best international practices.

    JSC Ukrtransgaz is actively engaged in charity activities. Last week the company contracted the production of two military drones Valkyrie to be transferred to Ukraine’s Operational Command North of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

    The purchase of the drones became possible due to a significant contribution of UAH 1 million by one of Ukrtransgaz's partners who wished to remain incognito.

    The network of underground gas storage (UGS) facilities of Ukraine remains under enhanced security and keeps operating as normal.
  • JSC Donetskoblgaz employees continue to resume gas supply in Donetsk region. As a result of enemy shelling, gas pipelines were damaged. From 9 to 12 February, enemy troops damaged gas pipelines in Lyman, Rubtsy, Chasiv Yar and Ivanopillia. Our employees have restored almost all sections of the networks, except for those where houses were destroyed and there is no possibility to live in them.

    In addition, the company's specialists replace meters and other gas appliances for the region's subscribers. If you seek to obtain such services, please contact  local gas suppliers in your area.
  • All digital services of LLC “Gas Supply Company “Naftogaz of Ukraine” are completely accessible. During the week, the contact centre has handled 87,423 calls.
  • Despite a drop in the temperature to -15°C in the Lviv region, Novyi Rozdil and Novoyavorivsk CHPs (Naftogaz Teplo) operated as normal in compliance with the temperature schedules.

    Branch Novoyavorivsk power grids and Branch Novyi Rozdil power grids operate in compliance with the hourly blackout schedules following instructions from the Ukrenergo dispatcher. 

    All preventive and repair works were carried out without additional power outages.
  • JSC Ukrgasvydobuvannya continues to produce gas at all its facilities, except for those located in close proximity to the contact line.
  • PJSC Ukrnafta plans to open around 100 new stores and equip 14 gas modules at its filling stations this year.

    Ukrnafta’s modernized filling station at Kalush started operating last week.

    The company's production facilities are operating as normal.
  •  JSC Ukrtransnafta keeps ensuring reliable operation of oil transportation system of Ukraine. The Entity’s facilities operate as normal.
  •  JSC Ukrspectransgaz keeps operating as normal under martial law.
  •  OJSC “Kirovohradgaz” operates as normal.
