Naftogaz CEO Oleksiy Chernyshov held a meeting on 5 May with the heads of communities representing the Association of Ukrainian Cities (AUC), where issues such as the formation of sufficient gas reserves for the next winter and the repayment of debts of heat supply companies were discussed.
I am grateful to the heads of cities and regions for their joint efforts and willingness to work 24/7 for the right results. Local governments continue to be reliable partners for Naftogaz. Decentralization reforms have changed the approach to cooperation, making it easier to solve complex problems together. Thanks to this, we have successfully passed the most difficult winter since the country's independence. We are now working to successfully get through the next winter season," commented Chernyshov.
