Overnight, Russia launched a massive attack on the production assets of Ukrnafta, part of Naftogaz Group.
Several of the company’s production facilities came under attack almost simultaneously. Multiple strikes were recorded, causing fires at the facilities.
Response efforts could only begin towards morning. The damaged equipment has been taken out of operation. Specialists are assessing the extent of the damage and the impact of the attack.
During the attack, employees remained in shelters. No one was injured. We thank the State Emergency Service rescuers for their professional and prompt response,” said Naftogaz’s Acting CEO Sergii Fedorenko.
Russia had previously attacked Naftogaz Group’s Odesa CHP with missiles and drones.
