Sergii Fedorenko previously held a similar role at Ukrnafta, where he oversaw petroleum product trading, supply logistics, natural gas and electricity trading, along with the management and development of the company’s retail fuel station network and B2B fuel sales.
He brings more than a decade of experience in the oil and gas sector to his new role. From 2015 to 2023, he served as Chief Commercial Officer and Management Board member at Ukrgasvydobuvannya. He also led Naftogaz Oil Trading company between 2019 and 2022.
In 2022–2023, Fedorenko served as a volunteer in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
He succeeds Dmytro Abramovych, who has transitioned to the role of Advisor to the Chairman of the Executive Board of Naftogaz of Ukraine.
