In 2023, Naftogaz Group companies paid UAH 83.4 bn in taxes to the state budget. Another UAH 6.8 bn was transferred to local budgets.
From the amount mentioned above UAH 6 bn was paid to the state budget and UAH 0.5 bn was paid to the local budgets in December last year.
"Energy security of our country is one of the major tasks of Naftogaz Group. However, contributing to Ukraine’s economic development is of equal importance. We are still one of the largest taxpayers for the state," stated Oleksiy Chernyshov, CEO of Naftogaz Group.
