JSC Volyngaz joins Naftogaz Group and comes under state control

This marks the 17th regional gas distribution company to come under state control since the beginning of the year.

The changes have been driven by the necessity of addressing strategic energy challenges related to the reliable protection of critical facilities and the rapid restoration of infrastructure in the event of hostile attacks.

Volyngaz distributes gas to budgetary organisations and more than 250,000 households in the region.

Tariffs for distribution services and personal accounts for residents of the region remain unchanged for the time being.  Any forthcoming changes will be communicated additionally.

Previously, NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine integrated 16 out of 26 regional gas distribution companies, including JSC Vinnytsiagaz, JSC Dniprogaz, JSC Dnipropetrovskgaz, JSC Donetskoblgaz, JSC Ivano-Frankivskgaz, JSC Zhytomyrgaz, JSC Kyivoblgaz, JSC Kryvorizhgaz, JSC Kirovohradgaz, JSC Lvivgaz, JSC Mykolaivgaz, JSC Sumygaz, JSC Kharkivmiskgaz, JSC Kharkivgaz, JSC Khmelnytskygaz, and JSC Cherkasygaz.
