Naftogaz CEO meets with representatives of Ukrainian gas production companies

June 5 — Sergii Koretskyi, Chairman of the Board and CEO of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine, held a working meeting with representatives of both state-owned and private gas production companies.

The participants reviewed the results of the past heating season and discussed the challenges of the upcoming one, along with opportunities to strengthen cooperation across the sector.

I want to thank all industry stakeholders — public and private — for their unity during critical moments. The massive attacks on oil and gas infrastructure resulted in significant losses for everyone, requiring Ukraine to import large volumes of gas,” Koretskyi noted.

He emphasized that coordinated efforts are ongoing to restore operations and stabilize the situation.

Among the sector’s top priorities are ensuring a stable 2025/2026 heating season and identifying ways to gradually increase domestic gas production.

Every cubic meter of Ukrainian gas plays a vital role in safeguarding the country’s energy stability. Naftogaz remains an open and constructive partner for the production sector,” Koretskyi added.
