One of the documents provides for the supply of three LNG cargoes in the first quarter of 2027. If required, the additional LNG volumes will help meet Ukraine’s needs during the period of peak seasonal consumption.

The other memorandum with the Polish company was signed by Ukrnafta, part of Naftogaz Group. It provides for the supply of petroleum products to the Ukrainian market worth up to $500 million. This will further strengthen the stability of fuel supplies amid the global oil crisis caused by events in the Middle East.
The document also makes it possible to explore the possibility of supplying Ukrainian crude oil for processing at refineries in Central Europe. Another area of cooperation is expected to be the potential transfer of used fuel tanker trucks to Ukrnafta for transporting petroleum products.
