Despite the shelling and constant power outages, specialists are making titanic efforts to return heat to de-occupied Kherson. All of them risk their own lives and health every day, since energy infrastructure facilities are known to be particular targets for the enemy. Understanding the scale of network destruction and general situation in the city, I can say without hesitation that this is a heroic work. I thank all the specialists, in particular the employees of Naftogaz Teplo, who are returning life to the liberated city. Your contribution is very important,” said Naftogaz CEO Oleksiy Chernyshov.
Due to the significant destruction of networks in most Kherson neighbourhoods, it is extremely difficult to restore supply to all homes at once. However, the municipal utilities are working around the clock to supply heating.
