Russia attacks Naftogaz facilities in the Kharkiv and Zhytomyr regions

In the Kharkiv region, an enemy drone damaged one of the company’s gas production assets. A production facility in the Zhytomyr region also came under attack. The strike caused a fire to break out at the site.

Fortunately, there were no casualties; that is the most important thing. The safety of our people remains our top priority. As soon as the security situation allows, we will begin assessing the consequences and carrying out the necessary work to restore the damaged infrastructure as quickly as possible,” said Naftogaz CEO Sergii Koretskyi.

On Saturday, 9 May, Russians used an FPV drone to attack Naftogaz gas workers who were travelling to restore gas supply in Druzhkivka.
