Graduated from Mykhailo Tuhan-Baranovskyi Donetsk National University of Economics and Trade, Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas.
From August 2020, holds position of interim Acting General Director of Ukrtransgaz – Storage System Operator of Ukraine. In 2014 – 2021, he worked as First Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board of National Joint Stock Company “Naftogaz of Ukraine”.
Prior to that, he headed key areas of business activities in PSC Prominvestbank, Derzhinvest of Ukraine, Ukrtatnafta, Kryvorizhstal and Ukroboronprom.
He graduated from the Institute of International Relations of Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University.
Has over 20 years of work experience in finance and management. Mr. Belyaev graduated from Kyiv National University of Economics with a degree in banking and finance.
He started his career in the Kirovohrad branch of Prominvestbank. Since 1999, he has held the position of the head of Prominvestbank’s branch in Odessa. In 2009 he became the director of the corporate clients department at Kyiv Bank. From 2010 to 2015 Mr. Belyaev held the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at DTEK Krymenergo.
From 2012 to 2014 he studied at the Kyiv-Mohyla Business School, where received an MBA degree.
In April 2015, Mr. Belyaev took up a position of CFO at Ukrainian Retail, and in 2017 became the company’s director.
Since January 2021 he has been working for GSC “Naftogaz of Ukraine” LLC, first as CFO, and from 30 July 2021 he assumed a position of acting director at LLC “GSC “Naftogaz of Ukraine”.
On 14 April 2022, Sergiy Belyaev was appointed as director of LLC “Gas supply company “Naftogaz of Ukraine”, and assumed a position of acting general director of LLC “GSC “Naftogaz Trading”. He will continue to double duty until the appointment of a new head of “Naftogaz Trading”.
Vitalii has more than 20 years of managerial experience in the financial and investment sectors, water supply and sewerage, and the petroleum industry.
Since September 2021, Vitalii Mykhailo has been in charge of LLC “Naftogaz Teplo”, which handles the production of electric energy and heat energy along with transportation and supply to private, commercial, and other consumers in Lviv oblast.
For more than five years, he has been a member of the Directorate and Deputy Director General of JSC Ukrtransnafta. In this role, he has managed HR development, led the transformation of procurement processes, and headed the investment committee of the company.
Prior to joining the oil and gas industry, he was CEO of one of the largest private water suppliers, Ukrvodokanal, which provided water to more than a million consumers.
Previously, he coordinated the search for sustainable and innovative projects along with their acquisition and management and further sale to strategic investors at companies in the financial, pharmaceutical and media sectors.
He received a degree from the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas in oil and gas engineering and technology. He also received higher education in finance, management, and business at the European University in Kyiv.
Sergiy Boyev headed the corporate function "Naftogaz Group Strategy and Business Analytics". He organizes and coordinates work on development of corporate strategy and consolidated business plan of the Group, as well as analytical and investment management streams of Naftogaz. He is responsible for portfolio management of Naftogaz Group businesses and assets.
Sergiy also drives implementation of new prospective streams, in particular green energy initiatives, which will include engagement of potential partners and required capabilities to successfully turn such streams into new businesses of Naftogaz.
He joined Naftogaz as Director for Business Development of Ukrgasvydobuvannya JSC, where he led strategy and business planning, performance management, investment evaluation as well as enabled business development efforts.
Sergiy worked at The Boston Consulting Group and JP Morgan Chase and Credit Suisse investment banks.
Mr. Boyev obtained a bachelor’s degree in International Economics from Kyiv National University of Economics named after Vadym Hetman and Master of Business Administration degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania (USA).
