The supply of generators was made possible by participation of the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine, which back in the spring of 2022 began working on attracting donors to support sustainable operation of energy companies in war conditions.
Thanks to these generators, we produce gas independently of electricity and continue working on own production enhancement. The world does not get tired of Ukraine, no matter how much the enemy wants it, but continues to help us. We are doing our utmost to continue to follow this!"- Oleksiy Chernyshov, Naftogaz Group CEO, said.
In particular, Ukrgasvydobuvannya was receiving energy equipment from the United Kingdom, Poland, France, Sweden, Azerbaijan, Norway, Switzerland, Japan, Belgium, Lithuania, and Italy during the year.
At the beginning of the full-scale russian invasion, regular power outages led to disruption of our production processes and, as a result, production losses. The government assistance and assistance of foreign donors who responded to our requests has become extremely important for stabilizing our work and Ukrainian gas production in general. In conditions of war, we managed to minimize gas production decline, and now we are setting a plan to enhance it," Oleg Tolmachev, Acting CEO of Ukrgasvydobuvannya, said.
