Ninth massive attack on gas infrastructure since the beginning of October. Injuries reported.

Overnight on November 8, Russian forces launched their ninth massive attack on Ukraine’s civilian gas infrastructure since the beginning of October. The enemy once again used missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), deliberately targeting facilities that supply heat to Ukrainian households during winter.

Confirmed impacts have been recorded. One employee of Naftogaz Group was injured and is currently receiving medical assistance. Production equipment was also damaged.

Rescue workers are operating on site. As soon as the security situation allows, company specialists will begin restoring the damaged facilities.

Another cynical Russian attack aimed at depriving Ukrainians of gas, heat and electricity during the winter. Another act of terrorism. We are grateful to Ukraine’s air defense forces. Every intercepted target means lives saved,” said Sergii Koretskyi, Chief Executive Officer of Naftogaz of Ukraine.
