G7 and EU Delegation ambassadors and representatives meet with Naftogaz management

The support of international partners is one of the key factors guaranteeing the resilience of Ukrainian energy sector during this war. Naftogaz CEO Oleksiy Chernyshov stressed this at a meeting with ambassadors and representatives of the G7 countries and EU Delegation on June 15 in Kyiv.

The parties also discussed implementation of corporate governance reform, preparations for the next winter season, and increasing gas production in Ukraine.

The most important thing is that we see absolute support from our partners for the policies and reforms that have been implemented in our group of companies over the past six months. We have survived the hardest winter and continue to be the energy backbone of Ukraine and Ukrainians," commented Naftogaz CEO Oleksiy Chernyshov following the meeting.

He also thanked the Supervisory Board members and the partners for the effective interaction and joint work on challenges within the Ukrainian energy sector since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion.

Ukraine possesses significant gas potential. Realizing this potential presents us with an opportunity to contribute to Ukraine's success, which, without exaggeration, will shape the future of the world," commented Anthony Marino, Chairperson of the Supervisory Board of Naftogaz of Ukraine.

We remind you that all members of the Naftogaz Supervisory Board are currently working in Kyiv, including Anthony Marino, Chairperson of the Supervisory Board, Nataliya Boyko, Deputy Chairperson of the Supervisory Board, as well as Supervisory Board members Richard Hookway, Tor Martin Anfinnsen, Ludo Van der Heyden, and Rostyslav Shurma.
