Throughout yesterday and during the night, Russian forces attacked a Naftogaz Group facility in the Poltava region that ensures gas production.
As a result of the bombardment, damage to the infrastructure has been recorded.
As a result of the attack, a fire broke out. Equipment sustained significant damage. The facility’s operations have been suspended. I thank the units of the State Emergency Service for their prompt and professional response,” commented Sergii Koretskyi, Chief Executive Officer of Naftogaz.
Since the beginning of this year, Russia has attacked Naftogaz Group’s infrastructure around 40 times.
