Russia launches three massive attacks on Ukraine’s gas infrastructure in a week

Over the past seven days, the enemy has carried out three large-scale strikes on Naftogaz Group’s gas production facilities.

Last night, one of Naftogaz Group’s combined heat and power plants (CHPs) was hit.

Earlier this week, the enemy struck gas production facilities in Kharkiv region and deliberately targeted critical infrastructure in Sumy and Chernihiv regions.

These facilities have nothing to do with military objectives. Russian terrorists are committing new acts of terror aimed solely at depriving Ukraine of gas, heat, and light this winter. Russians still don’t understand: they will not break us or intimidate us. We stand together and protect one another. We will restore everything. We will rebuild everything,” said Sergii Koretskyi, Chief Executive Officer of Naftogaz.

All the company’s teams are operating in emergency mode.

Reminder: on the morning of October 3, Russian forces launched the largest strike on Naftogaz Group’s gas production facilities since the start of the full-scale invasion
