Thanks to the commissioning of 8 facilities, the company will receive an additional 42 mcm of gas for the next year.
Four compressor stations have already started operating at the Rozumivske and Maksalske fields, at the 5th Integrated Gas Treatment Plant of the Shebelinske field, as well as at the IGTP of the Eastern block of the Yulievsky field. In total, they provide additional 60 tcm of gas per day.
"To stabilize production at depleted fields, modernization and construction of new surface facilities is extremely important. In the summer, we launched the updated Yablunivske booster compressor station, the process of modernisation of the most fundamental and powerful BCSs is ongoing. At the same time, we are working on the large-scale introduction of small-sized compressor stations that increase the rate of gas production in the most depleted fields. Next year, we plan to launch ten more SBCSs based on the model of operation of a complex gas gathering system in PipeSim, and at least four to overcome the issue of seasonal unevenness of production, in particular at the Svidnytske and Borovske fields," Oleg Tolmachev, Naftogaz Exploration and Production Division Deputy Director for Production, said.
The main advantages of SBCSs over stationary booster compressor stations are the ability to compress gas at significantly lower pressures, the speed of equipment deployment, and the ability to investigae wells at low operating pressures. By the end of the year, the company will complete construction of four more SBCSs at the Kobzivske, Gorotsevske, Yulivske and Novoselivsky fields. Project documentation is currently being developed and preparations for commissioning are underway.
Recall that in the summer of 2021, Ukrgasvydobuvannya commissioned modernized Yablunivska booster compressor station.
