Russian forces once again carried out an attack on Ukraine’s civilian oil and gas infrastructure. This time, facilities in the Poltava region were struck. The enemy used strike drones.
The attack caused significant damage. A fire is ongoing at the facility. Units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine are involved in eliminating the consequences.
This is yet another deliberate strike on our oil and gas infrastructure. Sincere gratitude to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and to Naftogaz crews who are dealing with the aftermath of these attacks, working at the limit of their capacity and under the threat of repeated bombardment,” commented Naftogaz Chief Executive Officer Sergii Koretskyi.
Reminder: since the beginning of 2026, Russia has attacked Naftogaz Group facilities more than 20 times.
