Russia continues attacks on Naftogaz Group gas production with another strike overnight

Over the past week, Russian forces have carried out six attacks on Naftogaz Group facilities. In the early hours of 17 January, another strike was recorded against equipment that ensures natural gas production.

Rescue services and emergency crews are already working at the site, assessing the scale of the damage and determining priority recovery measures.

Fortunately, there were no casualties as a result of the attack.

Such attacks have a negative impact on natural gas production volumes, forcing us to compensate for losses by increasing imports. Taking advantage of severe winter weather conditions, the enemy is intensifying strikes on civilian infrastructure, attempting to deprive the population of heat and create unbearable living conditions,” said Sergii Koretskyi, Chief Executive Officer of Naftogaz of Ukraine.

All Naftogaz Group services are operating in enhanced mode.
