Naftogaz and Siemens Energy sign memorandum on energy security and underground gas storage modernisation
Naftogaz Group and Germany’s Siemens Energy have signed a memorandum of understanding. The document provides for expanded cooperation on protecting energy infrastructure, modernising underground gas storage facilities, and developing power generation projects. The parties intend to jointly develop solutions for the physical protection and hardening of critical energy infrastructure, energy security audits, risk assessments, crisis preparedness and rapid recovery, as well as cybersecurity.
